Verizon's Old Pitchman Switches to Sprint in Delicious Bit of Backstabbing

Sprint's newest ads feature Paul Marcarelli, best known as the man in the Verizon ads who traveled across the US with his phone held out in front of him, testing the network's signal and asking "can you hear me now?" It's a deliciously nasty move from Sprint. But what most viewers might not realize is that Marcarelli's decade as Verizon's "Test Man" character was fairly traumatizing for him personally.

Oh sweet, sweet revenge.
