Team Rubicon is a nonprofit organization that supports disaster relief by deploying military veterans as volunteers. They aid people when they need it most, providing emergency care for individuals impacted by disasters across the U.S. and around the world.

Military veterans use their skills and experiences for Team Rubicon to employ a dynamic and adaptive approach to disaster relief while at the same time restoring a sense of duty and service that often is missing from their lives. We tapped our skills and experience to build a fresh new website that could serve Team Rubicon’s current growth and rapid expansion plans.

A call to action for volunteers, donations and partners

A complete creative and tech overhaul of the Team Rubicon website brought their updated brand to life in addition to streamlining and improving their content management system. A fresh user experience and technical infrastructure allowed the site to grow with Team Rubicon as they added new capabilities and operations over time.

Powerful, no-nonsense and ready-for-action creative

The design, photography and copy were updated to better embody the gritty, no-nonsense attitude of the brand. Website visitors get a glimpse of current happenings, see Team Rubicon in action and have the option to provide support.

We integrated the site with multiple APIs and services such as Google Maps, Classy, CircleCI and Icomoon to deliver a technically robust and visually compelling experience.

The new website launched just in time to serve as a destination for a partnership with MLB during the 2017 World Series. Team Rubicon’s bold new presence was seen by a huge number of people in a short time span, communicating their core mission, beliefs, and offerings in a bold yet simple manner.
