AMP Agency Seattle started more than 15 years ago in experiential marketing. And we still love creating on-the-ground experiences that connect brands to consumers in authentic and meaningful ways. AMP Seattle is a collection of Thinkers, Makers and Amplifiers. We have a diverse and extremely collaborative group of writers, strategist, event producers, architects, PR & Social mavens, Account Managers and designers working with world-class brands, to create consumer interactions that deeply engage, surprise, delight and drive KPIs.
For fun we gave our people a small survey to see what they are passionate about and we’re happy to report that “Coffee Snob” was NOT the #1 result. This proved what we already knew: AMP Seattle is not what you might expect. We love running marathons which means we train in the rain. SVP, Client Services
Our resident mixologist, Scott loves bringing people, partners, insights and inspiration together to create delicious concoctions. As a 20+ year vet, Scott managed IBM’s global brand campaign as Senior Partner, Ogilvy & Mather New York. He also spent 12 years at Microsoft as Global Advertising Director managing centralized campaigns across 29 countries and also creating online content, ad products and sponsorships in Microsoft’s Online Services and Advertising divisions.
Creative Director, 3D
Luis leads with enthusiasm and thoughtfulness, creating solutions that are bold and playful. As Creative Director at AMP, he leads the studio for experiential design bringing over 10 years of expertise in architecture, retail design and branding to his work. His past accolades include leading design work on City Target concept stores, Buffalo Wild Wings redesign, and several experiential activations for brands like, Southwest, Toyota, Patagonia, Amazon and Microsoft.
Associate Director, Consumer Engagement
Derek started his journey at AMP Agency as a young and fresh intern. He hit the ground running immediately with clients such as Amazon, Lionsgate, HTC, Levi’s, and Microsoft. Climbing quickly through the ranks and developing his skills and experience, Derek now oversees a team and develops strategy focused on spreading Southwest luv. Outside of work, Derek loves to hit the outdoors and go running, biking, hiking, and wakeboarding.
DJ Weidner rejoined AMP after a 3-year hiatus at Ratio and Rational Interaction. DJ has a deep background in brand strategy, consumer engagement strategy, marketing and digital strategy having worked on campaigns for Microsoft, Toyota, HTC, Amazon Kindle, DoubleDown Casino, The Seattle Foundation, Delta Dental of Washington, Avvo, F5 and most recently, Acer Computers. DJ previously spent 4 years at AMP and before that, dabbled in technology start-ups and client-side social media strategy.
Senior Director, Consumer Engagement
During her four years at AMP, Kat has lead content strategy, digital and social campaigns and experiential programs for The Coca-Cola Company, Amazon Echo and Kindle, Amazon Prime, Dockers, and Southwest Airlines. Prior to AMP, Kat was the Chief Creative Officer at a boutique agency in NYC servicing clients including Wolfgang Puck Enterprises, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and The Rainbow Room.
Associate Creative Director
Creative in the front, party in the back! With nearly 11 years at AMP, her experience spans many creative disciplines — as a director and designer, she’s managed all aspects of the creative process, from concepting to planning to execution. This includes branding, experiential design and 8+ years of planning and art directing photo shoots for digital, social, print, video and advertising. She loves rolling up her sleeves and working with the creative studio.
Group Creative Director
Seattle’s Creative Studio lead, Dan’s a secret weapon. Placing a high priority on strategy and consumer insights prior to creative ideation, Dan ensures concepts and tactics flow from truths that create impact and engagement. He is also a creative diplomat, balancing ideas that satisfy business needs, customer empathy and excitement. Former clients include Nike, Adidas, Garcia y Vega, ESPN, Columbia Sportwear, Dr. Martens among others.
