In 2016, AMP Agency San Francisco began focusing on Experience Design and Development. Today, we create digital experiences that drive engagement and amplify brands across the entire customer lifecycle.

As SVP of AMPXD™, Robert is responsible for ensuring the work always delivers excellent results for clients. With a deep understanding of both technology and market trends, Robert built and grew the digital experience agency SmallTalk to its eventual sale to AMP Agency over 5 years with clients as diverse as Fujitsu, Pharmavite, Team Rubicon and VMware. Robert spent over ten years at SolutionSet/Epsilon, helping companies like the California Lottery, Chevron, Cisco, eBay, UPS and Wells Fargo create exceptional digital customer experiences. Prior to SolutionSet, Robert held key management positions for various other agencies, startups and consultancies, including Carat Interactive, iGeneration, HardCloud, USWeb/CKS, and Digital Planet. Outside of work, Robert loves spending time traveling with his wife Jennifer and daughter Bella, finding great new places to eat, and enjoying the grape. Robert is also an avid (but slow) cyclist.
Colin has more than 16 years of technology and advertising experience, working with a variety of back-end and front-end platforms. He’s led, delivered, and launched projects for clients such as American Express, Chevron, Fujitsu, YouTube, Unilever, and more. He works closely with marketers, creative teams and other technologists with the goal of accomplishing the requirements of the project while ensuring an optimal experience for the end-user and content managers. Colin is a Sitecore-certified developer, but also has experience with Adobe AEM, Wordpress, Sitefinity and ExpressionEngine. In his free time, Colin enjoys collecting records, hiking, biking, and cooking.
VP, Experience Design
Jef has over two decades as a leader in the digital products space. He works at the intersection of strategy and design, with a focus on designing and delivering innovative products at scale. He has co-founded two different design agencies, working with a broad range of clients from early-stage startups to industry leaders such as Microsoft, Tesla, and SolarCity. Jef has held leadership roles at Hero Digital, FuturePerfect, SolutionSet, Thoughtworks, Digitas and Rare Medium. He has also led in-house design teams at companies such as Splunk, Collation (acquired by IBM), and Disney. Jef holds a BA from Brown University and an MA from the University of Texas at Austin.
VP, Client Services
Brian has over two decades of online experience with a focus on designing, developing and managing website and mobile applications. He has worked in just about every industry from technology to education to healthcare to utilities as well as with teams and clients all across the world. Before joining AMPXD™, Brian has held a number of positions, both in house and within agencies, at organizations such as Stanford University, SolutionSet and the startups Beyond.com and Startups.com. Brian is a graduate of UCLA and a life-long Californian, and has no intention of changing that.
Director, Client Services
Jamie is a producer that brings twelve+ years of experience in account and project management. She is well-versed in the design lifecycle and is committed to streamlining processes to enable teams to work efficiently and effectively. Prior to AMPXD™, Jamie worked in B2B marketing for tech companies in the Bay Area that included Dell, Symantec, Sage, DataStax, Align, and Agari with projects ranging from brand refreshes and website development to digital campaigns and event management. She and her family live in the Santa Cruz area and enjoy weekends at the beach. She also loves wine.
Director, Client Services
Working as a project and relationship manager for over two decades, Peter’s skills lie at the intersection of user experience, software development, and business strategy. He is an expert at bringing teams of people together to meet scope and schedule goals, and has a special talent for understanding each project’s tactical objectives as well as larger organizational motivations. Peter’s clients have included Cooley, The California Lottery, SAP, AT&T U-Verse, and the San Francisco Symphony. As a UC Berkeley architecture school graduate, Peter enjoys urban history, punk rock, and fantasy role-playing games.
Josh has been building digital solutions for over 25 years, as an architect, developer and team leader. His platform focus is Microsoft technologies, but also includes NodeJS, Frontend, PHP and Python. Josh is client oriented to fully understand the business problem that needs to be addressed. He is hands-on with the client and the delivery team from kickoff to launch and beyond. Josh’s past engagements include clients like American Express, Chevron, VMware, Suzuki, Peter Millar and County of Marin. Josh has a 9 year old daughter and a 15 year old son. He is an active member of his community and volunteers regularly as a school tutor and as a Little League baseball coach and board member.
Lee Springer is a seasoned digital marketing and web-development veteran with 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship, software development, network design, technical architecture, engineering team management, and overall project management. Lee co-founded and co-managed The Electron Shop for 5 years, a professional services agency focused on transforming clients’ digital practices and proficiencies. Prior to The Electron Shop Lee launched many successful client initiatives with companies such as SolutionSet/Epsilon, CBS Interactive/CNET, and Clear Ink. Lee has worked with clients such as 21st Century Insurance, American Express, Apollo Group, Asus, AT&T, Autodesk, Duke University, Gamespot, Hewlett Packard, Intel, JC Penney, John Muir Health, Lions Clubs International, MRC, Pixar, Procurian, Silverspring Networks, Speck Products, Synopsys, ThinkFun, and VMware.
