Why Twitter Has Run Into Trouble

Twitter’s market capitalization is around a third of what it was a year ago, at $9.5 billion. The brand has suffered from three interrelated problems that have prevented the firm from soaring to the heights many had expected: lack of agreement on its vision, executive instability that gives advertisers pause, and the service is too complicated for newbies.
