Why the Poor Pay More for Toilet Paper and Everything Else

According to a recent study, it’s expensive to be poor. The study found that lower income households are less likely to buy TP and other storable goods in bulk (because that would require them having more money upfront) and less likely to take advantage of sale prices (because that would require them to have the financial flexibility to buy when the items is hot).

You need money to save money.
