What You Need to Know About Twitter’s New Algorithmic ‘Catch-Up’ Feed

Starting today, users can opt-in to have a ‘Catch-Up’ twitter feed - basically the top dozen or so tweets they may have missed since their last log in. The feed will contain ads BUT the algorithm is designed to support quality content from anyone– not promoted content. So unlike Facebook, they aren’t creating a “pay to play” environment, rather brands can expand their organic reach by making really good content.

Will this save Twitter?
