The rise of the sharing economy has caused hotel chains to do some soul searching and shake up their business models to appeal to the all-important millennial traveler. Eighty-two percent of millennials took a vacation in the past 12 months versus 75 percent of all U.S. consumers. This is the biggest generation of travelers, and they want different things from their experience. Here's how hotel chains are catering to changing travel tastes.
