Target is trying to be Amazon Prime, and it’s Working

Last holiday season, Target lowered its free shipping threshold from $50 to $25. This proved to be a successful tactic - in the fourth quarter of 2015, Target outpaced Amazon in online sales growth. Additionally, Target is planning an overhaul of its food and grocery unit, and has started to partner with Instacart.
