Recent research from the University of Washington uncovered "a really interesting disconnect" between how children and their parents think about how kids' lives should be featured in social media posts by parents. Kids are really concerned about how they appear in social media - because that's where they're judged at scale, and they're not comfortable with sharing creative control over their online profiles.
