Foursquare Can Measure Foot Traffic Generated by Digital Ads

Foursquare has entered offline sales attribution, promising to connect digital ads (not just Foursquare ads) to physical store visits using a panel of users who keep their location-sharing feature on at all times. The program has been tested with retail giants like TGI Fridays. In a undisclosed campaign, the ads drove a 12 percent lift to visits.
