Facebook’s Live Video Effort Entices Media Companies

Media brands like CNN, Huffington Post, TMZ and E! are swooning over the possibilities of Facebook Live, a newly released feature that allows companies to post live video. More importantly, those live broadcasts display higher in users’ feeds and will notify users if a page they follow begins broadcasting. While Facebook is eager to bring media companies on board with streaming, they haven’t answered questions about revenue sharing and subscription models.

This could take on a life of its own.
