What Do Consumers Want? Look at Their Selfies

One problem with traditional consumer research is the gap between what people say they do (or would like to think they do) and what they actually do. Companies are now paying to have people take selfies with their products to learn about consumer behavior, and marketers say the insights are eye-opening.

 It’s like automated voyeurism.
