The Average 29 Year Old

Most journalists living in urban cities end up with a skewed impression of what the typical experience is for an almost 30 American. A millennial is expected to be "a college-educated young person living in a city". But according to the latest BLS data, the average 29-year-old started college (but didn’t finish), has held several jobs (not a steady “career”), is making $35,000 a year, and is more likely to be cohabitating.
